Experience • Education • Leadership

In 2023, I proudly served as the School Board Clerk, working diligently to re-establish good governance, enhance communication, foster trust, and be responsive to all inquiries. I took initiative to reform policies, empowering families to play a more significant role in their children’s education. This year, I spearheaded the implementation of new policies addressing cyber-bullying, a pressing issue in today’s world.

Drawing on my background in business development, I reviewed spending patterns and challenged traditional expenditures, advocating for cost-saving alternatives. I firmly believe that every dollar spent should yield a meaningful return on investment. Our Board of Education must maintain a focus on the broader picture, drive ongoing success at the district level, and equip our administration and staff with the necessary tools to keep HLSD at the forefront, ensuring our community continues to thrive!

Every decision I make is guided by the principle of prioritizing children! Putting children first doesn’t mean excluding parents; it means keeping them informed and involved as the primary educators. With my own twins set to be part of the district for many years, I am dedicated to ensuring they, along with all children, receive the highest quality academic education.

If granted the opportunity to serve another term, you can count on my unwavering commitment to our district, students, and community. I humbly ask for your support on April 2nd, 2024!

Colossians 3:23  “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

Experience

I served as the School Board Clerk in 2023, Chairperson of the Policy, Personnel, and Curriculum Committee, attended several Robert’s Rules governance trainings, and have executive-level involvement in two previous boards.  I was Vice President of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Kenosha, WI and was the youngest executive officer in history at St. Norbert College Parish in DePere, WI.

Education

I earned a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, a minor in Philosophy, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Norbert College in 1998.  I expanded my education becoming a certified personal trainer in 1996 and licensed Zumba instructor in 2011.  Before becoming a general manager of multiple health clubs, I mopped floors and cleaned toilets learning how to appreciate life with humility.  If you want to lead, you must serve.

Leadership

I am the Senior Global Product Manager in charge of the strength division for a billion-dollar exercise equipment manufacturer.  I work cross-functionally with other departments and personalities to establish growth goals, increase profits, and maximize customer satisfaction. I also teach Zumba at the WAC Lake Country (come join me!). Prior to my 17-year history as a Product Manager, I was in a commission-only sales position.  While it taught me how to get things done on my own, we can do SO MUCH MORE TOGETHER. I’m thankful for all my successes, experiences, and leadership opportunities as they have contributed to the man I am today.
